WEEKLY CULTURAL PROGRAMME CONDUCTED

Minicoy (17.7.12):  The Lakshadweep Kala Academy organized weekly cultural programme at creche building on 8^th July 2012. The programme was inaugurated in a simple function with an introductory address with special emphasis on the activities of Lakshadweep Kala Academy to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Lakshadweep including folk arts by Shri. F.G.Mohammed,IAP in the presence of President Mahila Samajam Smt Fathima TV, President Vanitha Sahakarana Sangam,N.B. Dalekha , Smt.A.Fathima, and F.Haneed, programmes Assistants, LKA. Various arts forms such as  Oppana, Local songs called Thaevaru, Thouheedu, folk dances and folk songs were presented by the young girls. Members of Mahila Samajam,  Vanitha Sahakarana Sangam, Anganwadi workers are attended in the function.
